Dayna Smith joined the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra staff as the Finance Director in June 2016. Prior to coming to TSO, Ms. Smith worked as the Chief Financial Officer for the Margaret Hudson Program, Senior Grant Accountant for Oklahoma State University, Accountant for Rogers State University Foundation, and Treasurer of the Friends of Starlight Concerts.
Ms. Smith is a native of Lawton, Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor of Music and a Masters in Business Administration degrees from Oklahoma City University. In addition to her accounting experience, Dayna has played the bassoon for over 30 years, performing in chamber groups, orchestras and professional bands as well as teaching bassoon privately in the Tulsa area.
Ms. Smith enjoys living in Tulsa for the past fifteen years with her husband and two daughters and has been active with several arts organizations including Friends of Starlight Concerts, Signature Symphony, Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, and Jackson Bay Quintet. She is proud to now be a part of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra as she can combine her two passions of both music and non-profit accounting.
