Beneath The Score – Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony

Conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, inspirational teacher, speaker, and author of The Art of Possibility, the extraordinary Benjamin Zander returns to Tulsa to conduct Mahler’s magnificent Symphony No. 2, . For the first of this two-part, momentous concert experience, Maestro Zander and the orchestra invite the audience to go “Beneath the Score” through discussion and demonstration of the themes, concepts and structure of the intricate “Resurrection Symphony.” Following the intermission, Zander and the Tulsa Symphony, Tulsa Oratorio Chorus, and virtuoso soloists will return to the stage to present Mahler’s epic score in its entirety.
