Community Engagement

TSO is constantly creating opportunities for engagement to broaden our reach and deepen our community connection through a widening range of music.

Meet the Musicians
After each of our performances, we invite our
audience to a musician meet and greet.
Light refreshments are served and a cash bar
is available. These receptions offer an intimate
opportunity to get to know our Tulsa Symphony
musicians, meet the guest conductor and soloists, ask
questions, or just say bravo!

Meet the Conductor
Classics series performances are enhanced with a
pre-concert talk by the guest conductor. These
insightful and engaging 25 minute talks are free to
all ticket holders and are held in the Westby Pavilion,
adjacent to Chapman Music Hall.

Tulsa Symphony Heart Strings
Tulsa Symphony’s Heart Strings is an enrichment
program offering the comfort of music to area
health care facilities. Currently this program serves
the Resonance Center for Woman, Tulsa’s Table, Life
Senior Services, and Jack C. Montgomery Veterans
Administration Medical Center in Muskogee. These
intimate experiences offer the comfort of music for
healing and as respite for the doctors, caregivers and
hospital staff.

Get Inside the Music
Prior to each performance, program notes are
available to everyone in advance here.
