Peace, Love, and Arlo

An icon of the 1960’s counterculture generation, American folk artist Arlo Guthrie is known for both his social activism and the powerful storytelling exemplified in his music, including hits such as “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree,” “Coming into Los Angeles,” and “The Motorcycle Song.”

Growing up Guthrie, Arlo was surrounded by such renowned artists as Pete Seeger, Lee Hays, Ronnie Gilbert, and various other folk greats. Arlo drew from these influences and brought folk music to the next generation.

Arlo will perform a variety of original material and cover songs accompanied by the full orchestra. Ron Spigelman conducts.
