Tulsa Symphony Orchestra announces that its winter season will feature a series of exciting performances in a variety of formats to provide our patrons a safe way to enjoy classical music. These concerts will include full orchestra radio broadcasts and live concerts for our “Fridays in the Loft” series.  The programs will highlight dynamic orchestral and chamber works that range from women composers Joan Tower and Jessie Montgomery; to Ravel, Haydn, Tchaikovsky and many others.

Keith C. Elder, Executive Director of Tulsa Symphony, said, “Music is especially important during these challenging times, and our Orchestra has innovated in a variety of ways to serve the Greater Tulsa community. We gained national attention for our open-air performances this fall, and as we move indoors for the winter season, we’re offering our concerts on several media platforms to provide easy access to the power of music.”

TSO will also continue to serve Greater Tulsa communities virtually through a variety of education and community outreach initiatives. These efforts include Carnegie Hall’s Link Up program, virtual visits from TSO musicians, Symphony by the Sea in conjunction with the Oklahoma Aquarium, and many others. The Orchestra engages with our senior populations through creative aging initiatives presented online to assisted living facilities in the area. Residents will have an opportunity to participate in a digital concert with thousands of elementary students logging on across northeast Oklahoma. These essential efforts underpin the Symphony’s objective to enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve.
